Baby Bottle Campaign
The Pregnancy Support Center provides all our services free of charge to our patients. We raise the funds necessary to operate through other means--one being our annual baby bottle campaign. Simple baby bottles distributed throughout the county (usually through our churches) raises a substantial part of our budget needs each year.  Click here for information on how to begin a baby bottle campaign at your church or organization.

Speakers/Workshops/Retreats
Do you need a speaker for your ladies meetings/retreats?  Your youth groups need a new face to present healthy dating?  Consider a speaker from the Pregnancy Support Center.  Speakers can cover a wide variety of hot topics that will inform and encourage your group.  To discuss your event call 893-0228 ext. 17.

How to be involved in the Pregnancy Support Center
Volunteer Opportunities: As pregnancy consultant, volunteers work one-on-one with women in a crisis pregnancy—working through the consequences of the various options. Volunteers play a pivotal part in the attitude of the young woman.

Abstinence Educator: As a Abstinence Educator, volunteers go to the schools to teach classes covering topics of healthy relationships, purity, faithfulness, respect, media pressure, peer pressure, and healthy sexual boundaries. Volunteers truly serve to change the course of a student’s life as they lead toward purity and integrity.

Nurses: Nurses are specially trained to perform ultrasound scans. Our nurses are in the front row seat as the mother is introduced to the child for the first time through the ultrasound image. This is a sacred spot as the mom realizes the reality and bonds with that baby.

Grant Writer: A grant writer can help us link to the people who are seeking positive results for hard issues. As we serve the needs of the single Mom, help prevent teen pregnancy, help prevent all STD’s including HIV AND help prevent abortion. These hot topic social issues are being addressed at the Pregnancy Support Center. We need help linking with the foundations that want to see these issues funded.

Administrative:
Receptionist-- answering phones, making appointments
Data Entry--computer entry of all necessary information for proper documentation and keeping statistics
Graphic Design--for ads, brochures, marketing pieces

Clothes Closet:
The "Earn While You Learn" program is designed to help you learn valuable information and gain skills that will help you as a parent and as an individual.  While doing so, you will earn "Baby Bucks" that will enable you to shop for baby items in our clothes closet. There are approximately 80 different lessons to choose from, and you, with the help of your counselor, will set your own plan for learning and earning your "bucks."  The baby bucks may be spent immediately after each lesson or saved and spent at a later date.

Donor: Makes it possible to offer all services free of charge. The work of a donor is vital behind the scenes. However, our clients do realize that someone is paying and at some point in their life (usually much later) are very appreciative that someone stood in the gap for them at a time they needed help.

Church Liaison: Serves as the link between the Pregnancy Support Center and your church.
